Common Certificates of Origin
There are the following types of certificate of origin:
1. Form C. It is a declaration for non-fiber textiles, applicable to textiles whose main value or weight lies in linen or silk, or whose wool weight takes up no more than 17% of the whole. As a multiple country declaration, it claims that the materials of the merchandise are made by several countries.
2. Form D. It is a certificate of origin for ASEAN Free Trade Area.
3. Form E. It is a concessionary certificate of origin used in China-ASEAN Free Trade Area.
4. Form A. It is a legal official certificate entitling our country’s export products to enjoy on the basis of a most favored nation’s rate of duty a further reduction of import tariff in the preference-giving country.
5. Form F. It is a so called gold certification for export products to Chile.
6. Ordinary Certificate of Origin. It is to certify that the merchandise is from a specific country or area and enjoys a normal (most-favored nation) treatment on tariff in the importing country. It is applicable in tariff imposition, trade statistics, insurance measures, discriminatory quantitative restrictions, anti-dumping and anti-subsidy, marks of origin, governmental purchase, etc. |
